The Sabrina Black
Foundation "Changing One Life at a Time" The Sabrina Black Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in May of 2006 in the memory of the late Sabrina Black. Its mission: to provide financial relief to cancer patients by paying off their hospital debts. There
are many wonderful organizations that help those affected by cancer.
The Sabrina Black Foundation, however, is truly unique in its approach.
The foundation focuses on 'changing one life at a time' by paying off
the entire medical bill of patients who, unknown to them, are located
through the billing offices of local cancer hospitals. Before losing her battle to Hodgkin's Lymphoma in March, 2006, Sabrina battled the disease for more than six years. It was during this time that she planted the seed for the foundation knowing first hand that fighting the cancer is enough; there should be no additional financial worries. The 'behind the scenes' approach to the Foundation was inspired by the way Sabrina lived her life; often practicing anonymous, random acts of kindness. Today, in her spirit, the Sabrina Black Foundation offers the ultimate act of kindness eliminating the financial worry of those who need to focus on what's truly important: fighting the cancer! ![]() Sabrina is a testament to the impact that one person can make. In her life, she touched the lives and hearts of many... and in her passing, through the Sabrina Black Foundation, she continues to touch the lives and hearts of many.
