The more people that know about your fundraiser, the more support you will receive. YCC will get you started. We will provide you with a full-color html email profiling your cause and announcing your fundraiser. All you have to do is forward this email to everyone you know and encourage others to do the same. This will help generate awareness of your cause and interest in your fundraiser.

Set Goals
Setting goals and objectives is very important. Not only will it help you gauge your results, it will also help our team formulate and implement the best fundraising plan for you.

Promote Your YCC Partnership
An easy way to let people know about your ongoing fundraiser is to add a link to YCC on your website and all of your outgoing correspondence; email signatures, letterhead, newsletters, bulletins, etc. This will spread the word about your fundraiser, and make people aware of your partnership with YCC. Remember, your cause will receive $10 for each referral that registers with us.

Offer a Variety of Products
Make sure to opt for a variety of products, price ranges and design choices when selecting your fundraising merchandise. Remember, our registration fee does not limit you to just one design. Your organization can offer as many design choices as products you have selected; the possibilities are endless! That's the beauty of our customization capabilities!! We'll work with you every step of the way to create a personal product line that truly represents you.

Shop with Us
In addition to the custom fundraising items that we carry, we also offer general merchandise without organization branding. These items range from jewelry, to handbags and clothing, and everything in between. Shopping for a special gift for a birthday, holiday or special occasion becomes an opportunity to receive additional support. Tell others... people feel good about giving while they receive. They are happy to make purchases for themselves and others when they know they are not only receiving a desired product, but also helping their favorite cause. It is the gift that keeps on giving!!

Start a Newsletter
As the old saying goes; out of sight, out of mind. Consider sending a regular newsletter to keep supporters aware of the good being done by your cause. Let them see for themselves how their support enriches the goals of your organization.� People are more apt to stay involved when they have confirmation of the good being done by their continued support. Additionally, YCC publishes a monthly newsletter that you may forward to your supporters, keeping your cause prominent in their minds.

 

Set-Up Fundraising Events!!
Plan an event where people can either make purchases on the spot or place an order that will be delivered at a later date. Not only with this generate interest, but it is also s is a great way for people to save on individual purchase shipping charges.

Arranging these events is simple; in most cases you can just showcase the items at events that are already planned. For example, if you are a school, plan events around major activities; kindergarten round-up, homecoming, band competitions, kick off to track and field or prom. If you are a church, you may plan an event to correspond with a missions support campaign, summer Bible School, or a food bank drive. If your are a community organization or an individual cause, plan events that correspond to your community calendar; the local arts and crafts fair, parade events etc. You can always contact your local Chamber of Commerce to find out about upcoming events. If you are associated with a major foundation, plan events to coincide with your foundation's awareness month, or established events on their yearly calendar. Use your imagination... the possibilities are endless!

 

Show Off Your Cause
One of the easiest ways to gain support is by simply keeping your products visible. Sport your products! Wear that necklace, use that keychain, carry that tote bag, and shade your eyes with your personalized sunglasses. Show it off and let others know how to get theirs too. If your organization has a reception area, keep a display of available products visible to all. And don't forget to let them know that their purchase serves the good of your cause.

Find Local Support
Communities care! Many people share your desire to do good. In fact, most would be more than willing to help support your cause, if they just knew how. Local merchants and professionals often partner with a worthy cause; just ask! Ask your pediatrician, your hairdresser, your local pet supply store, coffee shop, book store etc., about displaying your custom products along with purchase information. The more people that know about your fundraiser, the more successful it will be!
